Call for paper - Building a Sustainable Future
On June 9-10, SAPience.be and SAP will organize the SAP ecosystem premium event of the year in the SAP Lounge in Vilvoorde. This two day event will feature an informative series of presentations by SAP customers, SAP and partner experts.
This year's event theme is ‘Building a Sustainable Future', focusing on how SAP solutions can help organizations to become more sustainable and increase long and short term profitability by holistically managing economic, social and environmental risks and opportunities. Sustainability is much more than "being green" or philanthropic. Sustainable organizations today must focus on driving profitability, compliance, and their reputation through more sustainable and responsible behavior. IT is poised to play a key role in this endeavor.
SAPience.be and SAP invite speakers, who want to share their experience on how business applications can help organizations - large and small - to become more sustainable to submit their proposal for paper. Papers can cover, amongst others, customer testimonials and expertise insights from the entire SAP and SAP BusinessObjects business solution portfolio. We welcome both technology and business papers.
‘Sustainable Future' topics include, but are not limited to: Performance Management (Reporting, benchmarks, analytics, risk management, financial performance...), Sustainable Supply Chain (Procurement, traceability, risk management, resource optimization, supply chain optimization...,) Environment, Health and Safety, Compliance, Sustainable workforce (compliance, diversity, talent management...), Energy Management, Customer Service and Satisfaction (CRM...), IT infrastructure (Availability, security, accessibility, Green IT)...
The following types of papers will be taken into consideration in the selection:
- Partner Expertise papers: explain the capabilities and expertise of an SAP partner in a specific business solution area, without a customer testimonial. These papers can only be submitted by SAP Lounge partners.
- User testimonials must contain a testimonial of a project at a Belgian SAP customer. These presentations can be presented by the customer or the implementation partner or both. These papers can be submitted by any SAP partner or customer.
Speakers can send in their paper proposals by filling the online template here.
The deadline for submission is March 29, 2010. The SAPience.be Steering Board will select the best User testimonials. SAP and the SAPience.be Steering Board will select the best Partner Expertise papers. The selected authors will be notified by April 28, 2010.
